The City Hall of Las Palmas and a true golf enthusiast Javier Garzón, worked very hard to see the potential to transform a waste dump trash area in the middle of the City, into a full installation to promote golf to all residents. Blake Stirling and Marco Martin were hired to make the golf design. After one year of work, a steep slope of trash was transformed into an original 18 holes Picth & Putt and driving range. The first nine holes features famous inspired from holes across Great Britain and Ireland. The back nine holes are inspired from top famous holes in the EEUU.
Hole #4 “Vero”, just parallel to Doctor Negrín Hospital, is dedicated to Verónica Carballo González a lovely woman who battled cancer and close friend of the golf architects Stirling & Martin.
