LaFinca Golf in Pozuelo, Madrid is undoubtedly the project to which we have dedicated our entire professional lives. Since the year 2000, when Marco Martín signed the initial contract with Don Luis Garcia Cereceda, 84 design alternatives have been developed with multiple alternatives of 36 holes, 27 and finally planning and building a large course of 18 holes where all the environmental proposals and suggestions have been integrated.
Stirling & Martin Golf Architects, known for their technical and demanding designs for the player, have sought in the LaFinca Golf course a friendly course, with maximum playability and a lot of fun for all levels of golfers. The combination of Bent grass on tees, fairways and greens with Arundinacea Fescue in the rough, allows the player to enjoy a unique experience on a course with the highest standards of maintenance. The recreation of a dense natural pine forest has required the planting of more than 3,000 trees and the contribution of thousands of tons of mulch and pine bark, framing the play areas and optimizing irrigation in the natural areas of the course.
